Fruit Leather Recipe
4 cups ripe strawberries or any fruit
2 tablespoons honey
Preheat oven to 150 - 200 degrees.
Line a 9x13" baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat.
Puree strawberries and honey in a blender or food processor until smooth.
If desired, remove seeds by pouring mixture through a sieve.
Pour mixture onto the parchment lined baking sheet and spread into a thin, even layer.
Bake for 6 - 8 hours until the fruit leather is set and the center is not tacky.
Leather should peel away easily from the parchment or mat.
Let cool to room temperature.
Using scissors cut the parchment paper from the edges. Cut into strips and roll up with parchment. If you used a Silpat, gently pull off the fruit leather and cut into squares or strips. To make fruit roll-up, roll the strips in parchment paper.
